We are seeking an experienced System Administrator/Network Administrator to join our IT team. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to offer a full line up of solutions ranging from Hardware and Software support, Network Infrastructure, Servers Infrastructure and Cybersecurity tools, elaboration of IT policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
● Install, configure and maintain servers, and network equipment.
● Monitor and troubleshoot system and network issues
● Perform regular software and security updates.
● Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
● Provide Tier 1 support to end users.
● Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to escalated cases by Tier 1 support engineers.
● Implement and maintain security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
● Create and maintain documentation for systems and network infrastructure.
● Projects elaboration and implementation.
● Developing and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
● Availability to work outside of typical hours (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm) as needed for migration projects, patching management, critical and urgent end user support.
Qualifications:
● Post Secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in the MSP Industry, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 Support.
● Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, including migrations from Onprem setups to the Cloud solutions.
● Extensive Experience with VMware, Hyper-V virtualization technologies administration,.
● Experience Network Storage solutions and protocols (SAN/NAS/ISCSI)
● Experience with network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN, including Firewalls, Switches, APs configuration..
● Extensive experience with Microsoft Server platforms including but not limited to Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Exchange Servers, File Servers, Radius Servers, Certificate Authority, SQL Servers, and Group Policies.
● Strong knowledge of Powershell Scripting / Batch Scripting / logs auditing.
● Extensive Experience with Datto Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) plattform or other (Ninja. Kaseya VSA, Atera, N-able)
● Experience with Autotask PSA tool or others(Connectwise, Solarwinds MSO, Kaseya Atera).
● Experience with cloud-based infrastructure including but not limited to Microsoft Entra, Azure, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), and AWS.
● Experience with backup solutions including but not limited to Datto BCDR, Veeam, N-able.
● Experience with next generation AV tools.
● Expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Experience on Cybersecurity best practices.
● Microsoft, Google, ITIL, Cisco, Fortinet, Sonicwall, Cybersecurity certifications are a desired asset
