We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our friendly warehouse team, based in Cold Norton, near Maldon, Essex, as a Warehouse Operative.
The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and alongside others. Applicant must be physically fit and computer literate.
Pay will range from £10,982 - £21,673 a year.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure safe and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of goods
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Preparing and completing customer orders within agreed timescales
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and ensuring high quality standards are maintained
- Loading and unloading goods onto/from delivery vehicles
- Carry out stock takes as and when required
- Pick, pack, label and despatch
- Replenish shelves within the pick area from the bulk area
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse
Experience and Skills:
- To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
- Ability to move products which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting in line with H&S regulations
- High degree of accuracy, numeracy and literacy
- No previous warehouse experience required
Hours of work:
- This is a permanent full time position (40 hours a week) core hours/days Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Salary: Meets National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage (for those 23 & over)
