Assist Executive Housekeeper to ensure staffing levels to cover business demands, with departmental roster adjusted in line with occupancy and departmental budget Support with implementation of and adherence to Housekeeping policies and procedures including lost property, key control, security and emergency procedures, health and safety for all employees and guests Contributes to the overall cleanliness of the rooms and surrounding areas by maintaining an organized and efficient Housekeeping operations . Required to personally train HSKP staff on the procedure of cleaning rooms as per service standards. Personally ensures through effective supervision that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and are assigned on a priority basis. Maintains familiarity with Housekeeping equipment. Ensures Housekeeping standards of cleanliness are maintained by regularly inspecting rooms released by Supervisors. Contributes to the overall cleanliness of the hotel by maintaining organized and efficient service in areas of responsibility including handling & distribution of room linens. Scheduling & planning manpower needs, equipment and supplies requirements. Accountability of cost, utilization and performance of employees and equipment Keep a log of discarded and/or re-cycled linens Supervise the proper use of linen, equipment, cleaning chemicals and other amenities to ensure the proper distribution and maintain minimum cost. Ensure that linens are used in rotation. Maintain control of HSKP employees uniforms, ensuring that they are in proper condition and worn properly. Perform any other duties as needed and requested by the Head of Department.
