Bookkeeper/Administration [United Kingdom]


 

We are a plumbing and heating company serving the new build sector and we are looking for a highly motivated Bookeeper to cover the below duties.

Our office is based in Dunton, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 8RH

The following is expected from candidates applying for this role:

  • Assisting the compliance team with data entry/bookkeeping
  • Bank Reconciling
  • Invoicing
  • Employee Salaries
  • Vehicle & Fuel Card Management
  • Company Insurances (Annually)
  • Good working knowledge of Xero essential
  • Completion of VAT returns for review by Manager
  • Completion & submission of monthly CIS returns
  • Proficient in use of MS office suites such as Ms Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Able to maintain a positive environment in the office
  • Excellent organisational skills and manage
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Office based role
  • Working hours: Flexible - To be agreed
  • 15-20 Per hours a week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Salary: £11,700.00-£17,680.00 per year

Experience:

  • bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
  • Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
